Oklahoma energy stocks slammed by falling oil prices, market slide

oil33Ten Oklahoma energy stocks fell to new 52-week lows on Thursday as oil prices continued to spiral downward during a down day for the stock.

U.S. oil prices closed below $35 a barrel for the first time since February 2009, continuing a decline that has made energy stocks Wall Street’s worst performers this year.

All of the major stock indexes shed about 1 percent on Thursday.

Among the Oklahoma companies with shares at new one-year lows, and their Thursday closing prices were:

Devon Energy Corp., $29.98.

NGL Energy Partners, $8.11.

Seventy Seven Energy Inc., 90 cents
